Biography

Prof.Masresha Abuhay Retta is a highly respected academic and medical educator who dedicated decades of service to the advancement of health sciences education in Ethiopia. With an academic career beginning in 1963 E.C., he held multiple roles at the Gondar College of Medical Sciences, including Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Department Head, Dean, and Hospital Administrator. His contributions extend beyond teaching, encompassing curriculum development, national-level academic task forces, and leadership in humanitarian efforts such as the Ethiopian Red Cross Society. Prof. Masresha also served as an external examiner and reviewer for major universities and medical programs throughout the country.
